Pre-Opportunity Alerts

If you want to schedule an email to remind volunteers about an upcoming project, or share other updates, setup a Pre-Opportunity Alert using the steps below.  This tool allows you to schedule an email to be sent to all attendees before the project starts.

  1. Find your project and visit the Details page
  2. Select the Communication tab
  3. In the Pre-Opportunity Alert section, select EDIT
  4. Add a new email template by selecting ADD TEMPLATE or choose an existing email template using the radio buttons.  
  5. Choose when to send the email (this can be 1-10 days before the project Start Date) 
  6. Select Add Attachments to upload a file to send with the email
  7. Select Save

Post-Opportunity Alert

If you want to remind attendees to track their hours, or thank / update them after your project, setup a Post-Opportunity Alert using the steps below.  This tool allows you to schedule an email to be sent to all attendees after the project ends.

 

  1. Find your project and visit the Details page
  2. Select the Communication tab
  3. In the Post-Opportunity Alert section, select EDIT
  4. Add a new email template by selecting ADD TEMPLATE or choose an existing email template using the radio buttons.  
  5. Choose when to send the email (this can be 1-10 days after the project Start Date)
  6. Select Add Attachments to upload a file to send with the email
  7. Select Save
